Teaching PRONUNCIATION

Teaching pronunciation means to teach:
phonemic alphabet
individual sounds (phonemes)
stress
phonetical processes (e.g aspiration) 
intonation
accents and dialects

Teaching pronunciation is the process of introducing phonetical units and organising the process to shape the ability to recognise, distinguish and pronounce them. Therefore, recognition//distinguishing and pronunciation are the stages of the teaching process (see below).
